a) Use a rain barrel to catch rain water. Check this site for instructions on how to set up a typical rain barrel system; or, check out this newer type (more compact and less visible)
b) Harvest greywater from your kitchen sink, bathtub, washing machine. Here is a website that has lot's of great information: Greywater Guerrillas
c) Give your irrigation system a break a few days a week and hand water with your greywater – this also gets you a closer look at your plants so you can see if they need special attention
